Very well written and an appropriate tribute to the finest professor I had at Florida State. He taught advanced criminal procedure with skill and an enthusiasm which motivated many to try harder. He was a person truly concerned with his fellow man, and worked tirelessly in opposition to the death penalty. His untimely death was a significant loss to the death penalty abolition community and the legal education community. This is not only a timely tribute to a man who followed his star and fought for what's right, but also an uplifting memory, in a week in which the town he last lived, has had multiple separate shooting incidents this week. Thanks to the author a fine writer, and attorney.
